city and open sea views. The Sliema promenade, which runs
for several kilometers,is ideal for walker and joggers. There
are plenty of seats along the promenade and on summer evenings
the seafront becomes a meeting point for locals.
Saint Julian's is a picturesque bay still
used by fishermen, is lined with bougainvillea-clad cafes
and restaurants.
Paceville is said to be the nightlife capital
of Malta, having the largest concentration of restaurants,
bars and clubs in Malta. Facilities
in the area range from state of the art clubs, casino, state
of the art cinemas, live music bars, ethnic restaurants and
bars. Most places stay open quite late and fast food outlets
provide fuel to those on a bar or club crawl.
